Another Palestinian has been killed in a fresh Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip in the latest wave of such attacks on the besieged coastal enclave.
Palestinian medical sources said another man was also injured in the strike which was carried out during the early hours of Sunday.
The latest attack comes a few hours after an Israeli assassination drone killed two Palestinians in the northern town of Jabaliya late on Saturday.
Following the deadly strike, another Israeli military aircraft struck a target in the Zeitoun district of southern Gaza City. Four people, including a child, were injured in the attack.
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli fighter jets also targeted three sites in northern and central areas of the Gaza Strip, but there were no reports of casualties.
The Israeli military frequently bombs the Gaza Strip, saying the actions are being conducted for defensive purposes. However, disproportionate force is always used, in violation of international law, and civilians are often killed or injured.
Over a dozen Palestinians were killed in airstrikes carried out by the Israeli regime on the besieged Palestinian territory during the six-day period of June 18-23.
Gaza has been blockaded since 2007, a situation that has caused a decline in the standard of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment, and unrelenting poverty.
The Tel Aviv regime denies about 1.7 million people in Gaza their basic rights, such as freedom of movement, jobs that pay proper wages, and adequate healthcare and education.
