Tamimi on hunger strike despite isolation threat

Al Qassam website- Nazareth- The director of Hasharon jail has threatened Palestinian prisoner Ahlam Al-Tamimi with solitary confinement if she did not break her hunger strike which she started last Wednesday. 

Human rights sources said that the problem started last Wednesday when Tamimi went to meet her lawyer and the policewomen searched her and found a list of names of Palestinian female prisoners in her possession. A thing not punishable by the law.

They said that the policewomen wanted to strip search her but she refused and said she wanted to return to her room and not meet the lawyer. The prison administration punished the prisoner and she went on hunger strike in response. The director of the prison then threatened to move her to isolation but she still insisted on her strike.
